Single-loop shell-and-tube evaporator is a commonly used heat transfer equipment, which is widely used in the production process of chemical industry, foodstuff, medicine and other industries. It makes the liquid to be evaporated by placing it inside the tube and using the external heating source to make it evaporate. Through the heat and mass transfer between the wall of the tube and the external medium, the heat in the liquid will be transferred to the external medium to make it evaporate.
Single-loop shell-and-tube evaporator is a very efficient evaporation equipment, and its main advantages include high heat transfer efficiency, fast evaporation speed, small footprint, convenient operation and so on. It usually consists of shell, tube bundle, heat transfer medium inlet and outlet, evaporation medium inlet and outlet and other parts, in which the shell is usually filled with heat transfer medium and the tube bundle is filled with liquid to be evaporated.
